OT QLD Conference

OTs in Mental Health

The call for papers are now open for the 2010 Diversity in Health Conference.

Diversity in Health is a well-established event on the Australian health calendar, bringing together practitioners and policy-makers for a dynamic debate on multiculturalism, health and wellbeing. The conference will be held in Melbourne on 7-9 June 2010.

Multicultural mental health is one of the sub-themes of the 2010 conference, and there will be many opportunities for paper and poster presentations within this stream. The broad focus of the mental health stream is on program and service models, activities, research and interventions that aim to increase mental wellbeing and speed up the recovery of people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Abstracts must be received by Monday 8 February.

Further information about submitting an abstract or registering for this conference can be found at www.diversity.com.au.
