Accredited Occupational Therapist Program
Occupational Therapy Australia administers the Accredited OT (AccOT) Program. As an Accredited OT, you can demonstrate to employers, consumers and peers that you are actively working to maintain the currency of your knowledge and skills.
Employers including the Department of Veteran Affairs, WorkCover and other authorities recognise your AccOT status as your commitment to keeping up to date.

Australian Occupational Therapy Journal
The Australian Occupational Therapy Journal (AOTJ) is Occupational Therapy Australia's peer reviewed journal of professional research – your premier resource for evidence based practice. The AOTJ has recently been accepted on the Thomson ISI listing, placing it as the only journal outside of the U.S.A. to receive a ISI listing.
In addition to receiving your AOTJ bi-monthly (as of February 2009), you can access the electronic version via Blackwell Synergy, at no additional cost and at any time. Currently, we are creating electronic versions of back issues of the journal, allowing members full access to all published research. AOTJ is provided at no additional charge to you as a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.
Connections Magazine
In addition to State newsletters, all Occupational Therapy Australia members receive a copy of the Associaiion's bi-monthly magazine, Connections. Connections keeps you informed of issues and activities within the profession and the Association, and features a Calendar of CPD Events and a listing of CPD resources.
Website
The Occupational Therapy Australia National website contains a range of resources for therapists to use in their daily practice. The website also publishes information about CPD and other relevant events, and information on professional representation activities.
Occupational Therapy Australia actively participates in numerous allied health consortia and respresents occupational therapy at many Government committees.
Utilising the existing member committees and special interest groups, as well as contacting members directly and issuing call for feedback, Occupational Therapy Australia collates member concerns and develops position statements and policy feedback on behalf of the profession.
Occupational Therapy Australia regularly responds to Government policy and submits input into planning and policy development. Recently, Occupational Therapy Australia and other allied health Associations negotiated with DVA to develop appropriate models for individual providers, provided input and feedback to DoHA regarding the development of the Better Access and Helping Children with Autism Programs.
